Yorkshire Dales National Park

The Yorkshire Dales National Park is a dream for outdoor lovers of any age! If you enjoy walking, cycling, mountain biking, climbing or even kayaking there endless adventures ready and waiting; from a leisurely cycle through idyllic Yorkshire villages to taking on one (or all) of the 3 peaks.

There are also plenty of activities for kids of all ages. Discover some local history at Bolton Castle, learn all about farm life and meet the animals at one of the Dales’ open farms, or thrill-seekers of all ages can head to Lightwater Valley family adventure park!

 

North Wales

North Wales is only a few hours’ drive away and the views alone are worth the journey! Whether you’re a family of intrepid outdoor adventurers, or looking for a chilled-out holiday with the little ones, North Wales has beautiful scenery and family fun in abundance.

Discover the beauty of Snowdonia National Park and the surrounding areas; from towering mountains to stunning coastal paths, perfect for experienced hikers or casual walkers respectively. North Wales also has plenty of family seaside towns for a traditional bucket-and-spade holiday by the sea.

 

Peak District National Park

The Peak District is filled with quaint villages, market towns and beautiful walks for all ages and abilities. If you’re heading to the Peak District with young children or have limited mobility, check out the Miles without Stiles accessible routes for well-surfaced easy access routes without stiles, steps, or steep gradients. These walks are clearly graded, with many routes marked as accessible for all, including pushchairs and wheelchair users.

There are a many other activities to try in the Peak District, you can visit the historic Chatsworth House, go wild at Peak Wildlife Park or view the stunning peaks on horseback at one of the many trekking centres.

 

North West Coast
