We are so excited! Glastonbury tickets will be on sale in October after what feels like a looooooong year off!
So who is coming to Glasto? Who is upgrading their festival camping to a motorhome, and who is in charge of queuing to get them early Sunday morning on the 4th!
Glastonbury is the ultimate bucket-list event for festival lovers. After the 2026 break, the iconic music and arts festival returns from Wednesday 23rd June to Sunday 27th June 2027.
Whether you’re a Glasto veteran or planning your first-ever trip, surviving the infamous ticket scramble can feel like a marathon. If you want to experience the magic of Worthy Farm in style and comfort with a motorhome, there are some major new rules and dates you need to know.
But don’t worry, the Priory team are already on it (mostly because we’ll be buying tickets ourselves) so here is everything you need to know about securing your 2027 festival tickets and the all-important motorhome passes.

Step 1- Pre-Registration (Do This Now!)
Before you even think about buying a ticket, you must be registered. Glastonbury’s unique system requires a passport-style photo to prevent ticket touting. Tickets are strictly non-transferable, and security will check your face against your ticket at the gates.
- Who needs to register? Everyone aged 13 or over on 23rd June 2027.
- The Deadline: Registration closes at 5pm BST on Friday 25th September 2026.
- Already registered? Check your profile! If your photo is out of date and no longer looks like you, you need to update it at least 7 days before registration closes.
Step 2 – The Ticket Sales Phases (October 2026)
Glastonbury tickets for the 2027 festival will go on sale in October 2026 across two main phases. For 2027, General Admission tickets cost £408 + a £5 booking fee (plus postage). You don’t have to pay it all at once; a £100 deposit per person secures your spot, with the balance due in the first week of April 2027.

1st – 7th April 2027
This is when your remaining £308 balance is due.
Major Warning for Motorhome Campers!
If your goal is to sleep in a motorhome or campervan, do not buy a Ticket + Coach package. Glastonbury has confirmed that if you purchase a ticket with coach travel, you are strictly prohibited from purchasing a campervan ticket in either the general or accessible campervan fields. You must aim for the General Admission sale on October 4th.

Step 3- Securing Your Motorhome Pass
Once you’ve successfully bagged your General Admission tickets, you’ll need a separate pass to bring a motorhome.
When do Motorhome passes go on sale?
Motorhome passes are usually released in the spring (often around February/March, or during the April balance window). They sell out almost as fast as festival tickets, so keep a close eye on official announcements.
Choosing Your Pitch
When passes go live, you’ll need to choose based on your vehicle size and preferred location:
- Standard vs. Large: Standard passes are for vehicles up to 8 metres. Large passes are for anything over 8 metres. Festival staff strictly check dimensions, so don’t guess!
- On-Site vs Off-Site: You usually have the choice between the East Campervan fields (Blue Route, on-site, a manageable walk to the gates) or the Bath & West Showground (White Route, off-site, requires a 24-hour shuttle bus but generally offers flatter ground and easier exits).
Pro-Tips for a Successful Motorhome Glasto
- Get your crew together: You can buy up to 6 tickets per transaction. Gather a group of trusted friends, share all registration details/postcodes in a spreadsheet, and try for tickets at the same time.
- Prepare for off-grid living: Motorhome camping at Glastonbury means no electricity or direct water hookups. Bring a solar charger, fill your water containers, and make sure your leisure battery is fully juiced.
- Manage your waste: You are responsible for your own waste. Ensure your motorhome’s cassette toilet and grey water systems are ready for a multi-day stint.
- Arrive Early: Motorhomes are usually allowed to arrive on the Tuesday (a day before tent campers). Getting there early secures you a flatter spot and lets you skip the worst of the Wednesday traffic queues!
With a bit of preparation and a lot of luck, you’ll be set for the ultimate Glastonbury 2027 experience. Get registered, mark your calendar for October, and we’ll see you on the farm!
